Franklin advises Montefiore Investment on its takeover of Banimmo France.
Franklin has advised French private equity fund Montefiore Investment in connection with its acquisition of the entire capital of Banimmo France, the French subsidiary of Belgian real estate developer Banimmo.
A share purchase agreement has just been signed under which Montefiore Investment is to acquire a controlling interest in Banimmo France, a leading redeveloper of downtown commercial real estate whose track record includes the restructuring of Marché Saint-Germain and Halles Secrétan in Paris.
With this transaction, Montefiore Investment, which specializes in mid-cap service companies in France, is making its first move into long-term investments in high-value real estate operations.
