Franklin advises Lutetia Therapeutics Inc. on the acquisition of patents and data

Lutetia Therapeutics Inc. has announced the acquisition of highly technical patents and data from Pharnex, covering in particular R&D programmes targeting Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 1A, Alzheimer’s disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). This transaction marks a new stage in Lutetia Therapeutics’ development and confirms its ongoing commitment to continuously enhancing its technology portfolio in support of therapeutic research.

The integration of this patent and data portfolio strengthens and broadens Lutetia Therapeutics’ expertise in structuring R&D programmes with high scientific content. It enables Lutetia Therapeutics to position itself as a leading player in pursuing and structuring scientific and industrial partnerships around these assets, in Europe, the United States and Asia.

On 9 July 2026, the Paris Tribunal des activités économiques (Economic Activities Court) selected the offer submitted by Lutetia Therapeutics Inc.

Franklin acted as legal counsel to Lutetia Therapeutics Inc., the acquirer, in connection with this transaction, with a team led by Numa Rengot, Partner, supported by Pierre Dupuys, Of Counsel, Marouan Fawzi, Lawyer, and Elisa Kremer, Jurist.
