Franklin advises Perwyn on the sale of Isla Délice to A&M Capital Europe

Franklin advised Perwyn, a European investment fund, on the sale of its majority stake in Isla Délice, the French leader in halal products, to A&M Capital Europe. This transaction is expected to be finalised by the end of the year and marks a new stage in the group’s international development.

Isla Délice has established itself as a leading player in Europe’s halal market, operating in seven countries. The sale aligns with Perwyn’s growth and internationalisation strategy and opens up new opportunities for the group under A&M Capital Europe’s leadership.

Heinz Holsten and John Gallagher, from the Perwyn investment team and board members of Isla Délice, jointly commented: “The successful exit of Isla Délice to A&M Capital Europe is a testament to the quality of Isla Délice. During our ownership, we have been particularly impressed by the hard work and dedication of the Isla Délice management team led by Eric Fauchon as well as the broader organisation.  We are proud to have transformed Isla Délice from an owner managed French champion into a halal specialist with a presence across several European markets, led by a professional management team. This successful exit showcases the tremendous further potential of the company, and we are confident that it will continue to thrive under the new partnership with A&M Capital Europe.”

Franklin collaborated with Perwyn, alongside Jacques Mestoudjian (Partner), Rudy Marouani (Of Counsel) and Antoine Perrimond (Associate), on all tax law matters.
Perwyn was also advised by Moncey Avocats on corporate matters.

A&M Capital Europe was advised by Weil Gotshal & Manges on corporate matters and by EY Société d’Avocats on tax law matters.
