Franklin advises Perwyn on its investment in SoftNext

Franklin advised Perwyn on its acquisition of a stake in SoftNext, a fast-growing software publisher. This transaction marks a significant milestone in SoftNext’s development, strengthening its position in the French software market and accelerating its expansion across Europe.
Alongside Groupe Baelen, Perwyn fully aligns with SoftNext’s long-term strategy and supports its growth ambitions.

Since its foundation in 2017, SoftNext has established itself as a consolidation platform in the software sector. It has made more than thirty acquisitions, covering numerous vertical sectors from telecommunications to healthcare, and is backed by a broad portfolio of solutions.
Mathieu Antonini (Partner and Head of France) and Stéphane Gaudard (Investment Director) at Perwyn said:

SoftNext and Groupe Baelen have demonstrated a remarkable ability to grow through acquisitions. We are delighted to join this project and support the team at a pivotal moment in the development of key technologies, particularly generative and agentic AI.

Franklin worked alongside Perwyn, comprising partner Jacques Mestoudjian, Of Counsel Rudy Marouani and associate Antoine Perrimond, on all aspects of tax law.

Perwyn was also advised by McDermott, through Grégoire Andrieux, Stanislas Offroy, and Agathe Bourdillon, on corporate matters, as well as by Odéris.
