He will provide technical support on cases and offer a scientific perspective on the legal issues faced by the firm’s clients.
David Robine is a professor of private law at the University of Bordeaux, a member of the Paris Bar and the author or co-author of several major works, including Précis Dalloz Droit des entreprises en difficulté (Dalloz Summary of Law on Companies in Difficulty) and Précis Dalloz Droit financier (Dalloz Summary of Financial Law), as well as numerous scientific publications. He co-directs the Master’s programme in Business Law and Taxation (DJCE) at the University of Bordeaux. He is also a member of the European Association for Banking and Financial Law (AEDBF).
Prior to joining Franklin, he worked as a lawyer and consultant at various law firms, assisting companies, financial institutions and investors with complex restructuring and financing situations in France and internationally.
Founded in 2020 by Numa Rengot, the firm’s Restructuring department comprises three partners and six associates, including one Of Counsel.
David Robine’s arrival confirms the firm’s strategy for developing its Restructuring department, which has worked on numerous cases in the air transport, food distribution, real estate development and construction, graphic arts, retail, automotive, industrial and energy sectors, to name a few.
