Franklin advises Mainbot on the acquisition of My Serious Game under a sale plan

Franklin assisted Mainbot with the acquisition of My Serious Game.

Mainbot is a Paris-based company that creates educational experiences and innovative learning platforms based on gamification, robotics and Web3 technologies.

Located in Tours, My Serious Game is a major player in customised digital training.

This strategic merger marks the beginning of a new era in learning, with the ambition of pushing boundaries by exploring the potential of virtual reality, the metaverse, blockchain, video games, robotics and artificial intelligence for personal and corporate training.

In a ruling dated 29 November 2024, the Commercial Court of Tours approved the takeover plan presented by Mainbot, which will preserve all jobs and allow ongoing orders to be fulfilled.

Mainbot is advised by Franklin on legal matters by a team comprising Arnaud Pédron, partner, Fanny Attal, Margaux Chaumien and Yann Aubert, associates, for restructuring/distressed M&A aspects, and by Damien Mignot of Octan Advisory on financial matters.

My Serious Game is advised by Harold Avocats (Cyril Tournade and Marie Bunouf).

Ludicius, the takeover candidate, is advised by Gueguen Avocats (Maud Censier).
