Franklin advises on the relaunch of its subsidiary Durisotti, part of the GTE Automotive Group

The industrial group GTE Automotive, a European leader in decarbonisation solutions for professional mobility, has acquired the Durisotti Group, a major player in the industrial bodywork sector in France. Formerly the market leader, Durisotti now equips 10% of commercial vehicles in France, in particular for the fire, police, military and passenger transport sectors.

As part of this acquisition, GTE has recapitalised Durisotti with an injection of €5.1 million. The Group has also secured major financing agreements with its banking partners, the French Government, the Hauts-de-France Region and the Lens Liévin Urban Community (CALL).

This strategic support will enable Durisotti to make a sustainable comeback and lay the foundations for the future European Centre for Decarbonised Mobility, which will be inaugurated in Sallaumines. It will also strengthen GTE Automotive’s leading position in its market.

With an ambitious growth strategy, the GTE Group plans to achieve a turnover of €65 million in 2024 with 450 employees. By 2028, GTE is aiming for a turnover of €311 million, with the prospect of creating many jobs in the region.
