Jean Hentgen, a member of the Paris Bar since 2015, has been appointed Of Counsel in Franklin’s real estate department.
He advises on real estate law, both in an advisory and litigation capacity, with particular expertise in commercial leases, construction law and co-ownership.
Jean assists clients at every stage of the property lifecycle, from structuring transactions to dealing with any disputes that may arise.
He regularly represents institutional landlords, occupiers and operators in complex real estate litigation, including lease disputes, construction defects and co-ownership disputes.
Jean is a graduate of Paris V Descartes University (Master 2 in Business Law, 2013) and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Master 1 in Business Law, 2012).
Mathilde Monot, a member of the Paris Bar since 2018, has been appointed Of Counsel in Franklin’s Banking & Finance department, which she joined in January 2020.
Mathilde’s practice focuses on acquisition finance (LBOs) and structured finance, in particular transactions secured by tangible assets or receivables, alongside lenders (credit institutions, debt funds, portfolio management companies), borrowers and sponsors. She also assists start-ups in their initial fundraising.
Mathilde is a graduate of Paris-Saclay University – ESCP Business School (Master 2 in Law & Finance, 2014) and Paris Nanterre University (Master 1 in Business Law, 2013 and double degree in Law and Economics, 2012).
Josselin Nony-Davadie, a Paris Barrister since 2017, has been appointed Of Counsel in Franklin’s Corporate – M&A and Private Equity department, which he joined in May 2023.
Josselin advises French and international clients on acquisitions (with or without leverage (LBO)), divestitures, investments and joint ventures, as well as domestic and cross-border restructurings. He also advises on all aspects of corporate law, stock exchange law, governance issues and executive compensation.
Josselin is a graduate of King’s College London (LLM in International Business Law, 2015) and the University of Montpellier (Master 2 – DJCE, Business Law and Taxation, 2014).
Axel Verdot, a member of the Paris Bar since 2016, has been appointed Of Counsel in Franklin’s real estate department, which he will join in September 2019.
Axel’s practice covers all aspects of real estate law, both advisory and litigation, with a focus on overseeing the acquisition, development and leasing of real estate for French and international clients.
Axel is a graduate of HEC Paris (MS/LLM in International Law and Management, 2015) and the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Master 2 in Real Estate and Construction Law, 2014).
