Franklin strengthens its Corporate – M&A practice by welcoming Antoine Denis-Bertin as Partner

Franklin, an independent French law firm, announces the arrival of Antoine Denis-Bertin as a partner to strengthen its Corporate M&A and Private Equity departments. This appointment is part of the firm’s growth strategy to offer its clients tailor-made support for their most complex projects and transactions.

With over 25 years of experience, Antoine Denis-Bertin (53) advises a wide range of clients including management companies, private banks, wealth management advisors and multi-family offices, corporate executives and investment funds. Antoine Denis-Bertin is particularly active in the regulated financial services and data marketing sectors. His practice covers a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, LBOs and asset management.

Prior to joining Franklin, Antoine Denis-Bertin was a partner at Simon Associés (2022-2025), Herald Avocats (2020-2022) and Vaughan Avocats, where he created and headed the corporate M&A/private equity department for 12 years (2008-2020). He also co-founded Rossini Avocats in 2004, after working as an associate in the corporate M&A department at Dubarry Le Douarin Veil (2001-2004).

The arrival of Antoine Denis-Bertin strengthens the operational capabilities of Franklin’s Corporate M&A department, which is ranked among the “Incontournables” in 2024 by Décideurs and recently won the Gold Trophy in Mergers & Acquisitions for transactions between €75 million and €500 million. It also follows the integration of Jacques Messeca and his wealth tax team earlier this year.

I am delighted to be joining Franklin and to be able to contribute to the development of this Corporate/M&A team, which is recognised for its high level of expertise. I am also delighted to be able to offer my clients a more comprehensive range of services in collaboration with other departments, in particular Tax, Real Estate and Data,” said Antoine Denis-Bertin.

Yam Atallah, Co-Managing Partner, added: “We are delighted to welcome Antoine Denis-Bertin, who will strengthen our Corporate M&A / Private Equity practice and further develop synergies with the firm’s 15 other departments.”
