Mergers and acquisitions - Restructurings
Franklin represents a variety of French and foreign clients on numerous domestic and cross-border private and public transactions and restructurings. Indeed, the firm regularly works on cross-border transactions in cooperation with some of the best law practices in other countries. Our clients are French and foreign corporations, financial institutions and investment funds in all major business and industry sectors.
Private equity
The Corporate Law Department is widely recognized for its extensive expertise in advising on all aspects of private equity transactions from venture capital investments to cross-border buy-outs and from the early stage of an investment through to exit. Our dedicated teams represent equity investors, corporations raising capital and management teams.
Privatisations
The Corporate Law Department and the firm’s Public Sector Law Department have together developed considerable experience in privatisations as lead counsel to the French State, state-owned corporations and French and foreign investors.
Corporate Real Estate
Franklin regularly advises real estate dedicated corporations, financial institutions and private equity structures on all aspects of direct and indirect real estate investment such as the acquisition of large real estate portfolios, restructurings and the negotiation of commercial real estate agreements.
To facilitate the operations our firm is engaged in for our clients, Franklin has an excellent knowledge of and maintains regular contact with the French and European anti-trust authorities, the French stock exchange and French banking and regulatory authorities as well as the French Finance Ministry and other key French ministries.
